「サラダをたくさんありがとう」なら「Thanks for a lot of salad.」となるはず。
今回の「a lot」はサラダではなく「Thanks」に対するもの(「Thanks」を強調するもの)なのでこの語順となります。

発音、アクセントに注意しましょう。動詞は「despair」です。
