「have a flat tire」でパンクするという表現、実際に使うのは難しいですね。
日本人的感覚だと、「a tire is flat」って言いますかね。

frantically 必死になって
「I ran around franticly to looking for a convenience store to buy some.」のところで、何かを買いに行ったんだけど、その前の文を見ても「And then my radio badly went dead.」なわけで、ラジオを買いに行ったのかな?と不思議でした。「badly」じゃなくて「battery」だったんですね。
○But the game was over by the time I found one.
