Liz:

ここのMikeとLizのやり取りは、関西風にノリツッコミでやるとおもしろいんですけどね。
「結婚式、何着て行こうかな?」
「全然問題あれへんでー。ドレス着て行ったらええねん。」
「そうやなぁ、ドレス着たらええねんな。・・・って、わかってるわ!どのドレス着るかで迷ってるんやないの!」
今日のLizの口調はあまりにもマジメっぽかったので、かえっておかしかったです。
Mike:

Mike:

knockout とても綺麗な女性

(1) 彼女がパーティーでどんな食べ物を出せばいいかアドバイスしてくれた。

(2) 何を注文するのかを決めるのにもうすこし時間をくれますか?
○Could you give us a little more time to decide what to order?
===> Could you give us a little more time to decide what to order?
(3) 僕はとても緊張していたので何を言えばいいかわからなかった。
○I was so nervous that I was at a loss for what to say.
===> I was so nervous that I was at a loss for what to say.
「at a loss」で、途方にくれてとか困ってという意味になります。
