Liz:

ここのMikeとLizのやり取りは、関西風にノリツッコミでやるとおもしろいんですけどね。
「結婚式、何着て行こうかな？」
「全然問題あれへんでー。ドレス着て行ったらええねん。」
「そうやなぁ、ドレス着たらええねんな。・・・って、わかってるわ！どのドレス着るかで迷ってるんやないの！」
今日のLizの口調はあまりにもマジメっぽかったので、かえっておかしかったです。

Mike:

go overboard　極端に走る
outdo　負かす

Mike:

Liz:
△That was a long time ago, the day we first met, I was recalled.

Mike:

knockout　とても綺麗な女性
これはどこかで使えそうですね。

【Let's Listen and Write!】
(1) 彼女がパーティーでどんな食べ物を出せばいいかアドバイスしてくれた。

(2) 何を注文するのかを決めるのにもうすこし時間をくれますか？

(3) 僕はとても緊張していたので何を言えばいいかわからなかった。

「at a loss」で、途方にくれてとか困ってという意味になります。
